Kimberly Patterson  > Kayaking > 2008 > 4.19.08 John Muir Festival Regatta
Mark Westwind invited area kayakers to the 2nd annual regatta, part of the John Muir Birthday / Earth Day celebration in Martinez. In spite of gale warnings, nine paddlers took to the Carquinez Strait.
