6.14.08 Bodega Head : Thomas & I met at Doran Beach for a short but sweet paddle around Bodega Head. Swell was 5'-7' at 9 seconds, winds negligible. Wildlife sighted included a big sea lion, a small whale, and lots of white pelicans.

1.13.08 Out the Gate : I enjoyed a fresh start to a new year of kayaking, thanks to my friends Thomas, Amber, Rich & Paula, Mike & Larry! Mild tides & winds, but a 9'-11' W swell predicted on the coast (the day after the Maverick's competition) - yet once again, conditions were perfect on the sheltered Horseshoe Cove to Point Diablo run.
